Terms of service

Last updated: November 7, 2026. BidRock is operated by Suresh Patel, a sole proprietor in the United States ("BidRock", "we", "us"). These terms cover the BidRock software and bidrock.org. By downloading, activating or buying BidRock, you agree to them. If you're accepting for a company, you confirm you can bind it.

Your license

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and use BidRock for your business during your trial or paid subscription. The software is licensed, not sold; we keep all rights in it.

The trial

The free trial lasts 30 days from activation, on one computer, one per person or company. No credit card. When it ends, the app goes read-only: you can view and export your work, and nothing is deleted.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are per seat and billed yearly or month to month through Stripe at the price shown when you buy. A paid seat can be active on up to 2 computers. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If we change a price, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we'll tell you before then.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel anytime; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, then the app goes read-only and your work stays yours. Because the trial lets you try everything first, payments aren't refunded for partial periods, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong with a charge, write to us and we'll make it right.

Your work is yours

Your drawings, measurements, worksheets and proposals belong to you. You're responsible for having the right to use the drawings you load.

Check your numbers

BidRock is a tool for estimators, not a substitute for one. You're responsible for reviewing every quantity, price and proposal before you rely on it or send it, including anything an AI suggested.

Third-party AI

If you connect your own AI, your use of it is under your agreement with that provider, and we aren't responsible for what it does.

Acceptable use

Don't share or resell license keys, get around licensing or trial limits, reverse engineer the software except where the law allows, use BidRock to break the law or anyone's rights, or interfere with our services. We may suspend or end a license that breaks these rules; where we can, we'll warn you first and let you export your work.

Updates

We may update BidRock to fix problems, add features or change how it works. Features described on the site as coming aren't part of what you buy until they ship.

No warranty

BidRock is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the software will be error-free or that its results will be accurate.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost bids or lost data, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for BidRock in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Ending these terms

You can stop using BidRock anytime. These terms end when your trial or subscription ends or if we end your license for breaking them. The sections on your work, no warranty and the limit of liability survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where BidRock's operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before going to court, contact us and we'll try in good faith to sort it out.

Changes

If we change these terms we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll email license holders before they take effect. Using BidRock after that means you accept the new terms.
